Unified Sports Soccer Kick - Off Celebration March 28th

On Saturday, March 28th MHS celebrated the beginning of the Unified Sports soccer season. The wind may have been blustery, but our athletes played as if it were 75 and sunny. We won some, lost some but the smiles on the athletes faces told the true story. The team would like to give a special thanks to A.D. John Barrington.

Aysha Hentz -Student of the Month at NEWTECH

Aysha Hentz, was nominated by KC Abbott, A NEWTECH teacher who wrote: Aysha is a second year student who is generous with her time helping other students, is efficient and a hard worker. She has taken on a leadership role as Manager on Duty. She is a team player, doing what's asked whether it her job or not! Congratulations Aysha!

Free Childhood Vaccination Clinic at Meadow Ridge - Monday, March 23rd

The Spokane Regional Health District is offering a free childhood vaccination clinic at Meadow Ridge Elementary on Monday, March 23. The clinic will be open from 3:30 -6 pm at the school 15601 N. Freya St. All required immunizations will be available for children ages 2-18. There will also be limited availability of no-cost vaccines for under insured or uninsured adults. The clinic is one of a series at area schools in partnership with the Group Health Foundation. The next clinic offered in Mead School district will be at Farwell Elementary on April 21st.
