Mandi Edlin Received the Executive Women International Scholarship

One junior from each area high school was chosen to apply for the EWI scholarships. The EWI scholarship committee then chose three finalists to present a speech at the EWI Scholarship banquet titled “ This I Believe” . Mandi was chosen out of a pool of 19 other applicants to become a finalist along with two other outstanding juniors from the Spokane area. Mandi received the $2,000 scholarship which can be used for tuition, books and other school related expenses.

Enjoy A Free Lunch and Fun Environment

Beginning Monday, June 15th, Calvary Spokane and Area 511 Youth will be providing free lunch for students. Students are also welcome to hang out in the youth room, play air hockey or foosball, or simply enjoy the air conditioning. Click on the headline for more information.

This week's schedule: Monday, Periods 1-6 (Regular Day); Tuesday, Period 3 & 6 Finals; Wednesday, Periods 1 & 4 Finals; Thursday, Periods 2 & 5 Finals; Friday, 1-6 w/ early release @ 10:50.

Finals days release at 12:35, buses @ 1:00.

2015 Yearbook Distribution

Yearbook distribution is Friday, May 29 after school in the mall. Current photo ID is required to get your book. Distribution will continue Monday and Tuesday June 1 & 2 before school and during both lunches.

Seniors: if you did not buy a book in the fall, they will be available to you/seniors Friday, May 29. Mrs. Tadlock will be under the big M in the mall. Current photo ID is required. Cost is $65.

Books can be purchased, as long as they last, from the Business Office starting Monday, June 1 for $65.

2015 Student Led Conferences

We are now scheduling for our Spring 2015 Student Led Conferences (SLC). Each freshman, sophomore and junior student is expected to attend his or her annual SLC (freshmen who had their SLC in January are not expected to conference this spring).

May 18th-21st
6 - 8:20 PM. (Conferences will be 15-20 min long)

Mead Orchestra Performs at the Boiler Room Pizza Restaurant ~ Thursday, May 14th, 5:30-8:00

The students have formed small groups and will be providing a few hours of fabulous light background chamber music as you enjoy eating & socializing with family and friends.

Please make your reservations at the Boiler Room if you haven't already!
They will be performing on the patio so let them know you are with the Mead Orchestra and that you would like patio seating (as long as there is availability).

Tanner Eberle Wins 1st Place

Tanner Eberle won first place at the Skills USA State Competition for his Mobile Electronics.He will now be attending the Skills USA Nationals Conference June 22-26. Congratulations Tanner and good luck!
