Congratulations to Mead High School's Greater Spokane League Scholar Athletes

Kaitlyn Engen has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and is the daughter of David and Michelle Engen. She has earned 8 varsity letters; 1 in track, 3 in cross country, and 4 in gymnastics.  Kaitlyn has also received 3 GSL First Team honors in bars and beam. This year she was the All-GSL District Uneven Bars Champion.  Kaitlyn will attend Purdue University where she has been awarded their
Presidential Scholarship. She plans on studying Nutrition, Fitness, and Exercise Physiology.
 
Cameron Dean has a 3.95 GPA and is the son of Jeff and Robin Dean. He is a member of the National Honor Society.  He has earned 5 varsity letters; 2 in Cross Country and 3 in Track &
Field and Cameron was the 2015 NECA-IBEW Fall Student Athlete of the Quarter.  Cameron will attend Washington State University where he was awarded the University Achievement Scholarship. He will be running Cross Country and Track and Field. Cameron’s intended major area of study is Neuroscience.
