Philip Gardner Gives Back to His Native Country of Ethiopia

Philip Gardner is a student in Mead High School’s Transition Program. His class meets as a club on Fridays with People First of Spokane to learn advocacy skills, work on community building projects and enjoy time together with other Student First groups in the Spokane community. Philip was elected Advocacy Representative by his peers this year and will be traveling with the People First of Spokane to Olympia on March 25th to speak to our legislators about employment for people living with disabilities.
